EILAND (ISLAND) HOUSE

This gorgeous family vacation home got a full overhaul! Our clients purchased the Rockport home fully furnished and kept it that way for several years, but finally decided to make it their own. The existing stairs were so steep that they were more than just a good leg workout, they were dangerous and not to code. To remedy the issue, the entry had to be expanded which also allowed for some exterior changes to define the front door and add curb appeal to the home. Other than the changes to the front of the home, the interior layout remained mainly the same. By updating the finishes and furniture we were still able to make this home look drastically different.

Quality family time was very important to our client regarding how they would utilize the space. Ensuring everyone felt comfortable, relaxed, and wanted to spend time together was a driving factor in all design decisions. The client came to us with a check list of design elements she wanted to see in the home but trusted us in how to interpret and implement them. We love that this home can check all their boxes and can be a space they are excited to bring friends and family for years to come.​
